Genesi is a seating system characterized by its high versatility and innovation, conceived primarily for use in office environments, but not limited to this context.
The design philosophy that characterizes the collection aims to enhance its flexibility of use, making it suitable not only for offices but also for meeting rooms, educational settings, and co-working spaces. Resulting from collaboration with designer Emanuele Bertolini, Genesi offers a wide variety of configurations that maximize the interaction between the backrest, seat, frames, bases and accessories, generating dozens of possible combinations.
The carefully designed and ergonomic features emphasize the chair's comfort, while an innovative technical solution allows the assembly of the backrest, seat and armrest without the use of screws, ensuring high practicality and a reduction in the number of components.
Regarding materials, the collection provides various options applicable to the backrest and seat, from exposed plastic available in four colors - black, white, gray, and blue - to the possibility of upholstering both. The backrest can also be chosen in a version suitable for mesh installation, offering an additional customization option and added comfort.
Frames are offered in four colors - black, white, gray, and chrome finish - in various models, ranging from classic 4-legged frames and cantilever to the swivel base on wheels or the bench version. The wide range of accessories includes the plastic armrest, perfectly integrated into the backrest and seat shells, easily installable without the use of screws and available in the four colors of the collection. Accessories also include a practical tablet holder, to be paired with the armrest, and side hooks that securely join the chairs when placed side by side. Additionally, there is a variant of the 4-legged frame on which it is possible to install a set of special high glides, castors wheels, and a functional tray for bags.
Genesi stands out for its balance between design, functionality, and quality, properties validated by certifications conforming to the high safety and reliability standards EN-16139:2013 Level 2 and Ansi-Bifma X5.1. Furthermore, it boasts the use of an innovative and exclusive technical solution protected by a patent.
